Someone recently posted on X about Finland's electricity being cheap because of NUCLEAR. He shouldn't have. The post left out, conveniently for the NUKE lovers, that the TAXPAYER subsidises the cost - i.e. The taxpayer pays the government to give itself a discount so that the NUKE business can make a profit - Call it creative accounting OR a very dumb public.

ise - It’s a sideshowGiven tomorrow (14/05/2024) is #budget day and #PeterDutton promised "details" on his nuclear plan, we can fairly assume we are not going to get them by the time the budget is released tomorrow. Ok, we already know he won't as he's fudged the date again, sometime in the future.
Even so, we are left wondering WHY Peter Dutton posted a transcript of his interview with #DavidSpeers on #Insider on 21/04/2024 which in part dealt with #NuclearEnergy. It's a master class in deflections, why why did he publish it?
